Location Purpose built Film Studio, on location or at most hotels
Minimum Notice Period 4 Weeks

Groups will be split up into ‘film units’ of approximately 10 to 12 people, with every member taking on a specific role in the creation of their own short epic. A lucky dip provides a film title, genre and characters for each crew. Each team must manage the available resources in the making of their film: the cameramen, actors, props and editing. We supply a production budget of $1m (Monopoly money) which must cover all the production and marketing costs. We supply the technology (cameras, editing facilities, on-site technicians etc), some handy props, and a team of experts, who run master-classes in directing, scripting and acting. Then it’s up to you! Each film unit is responsible for scripting, acting and filming their feature, with guidance from us. You decide whether to make a ‘weepy’, or whether to play it for laughs. At the end of the day, our editors get busy in the cutting room, working with the directors and crew to polish each block-buster. Then it’s on to the Oscar Awards ceremony. After dinner, you get a chance to see all the films, and then awards are made in many categories - Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, Best Facial Expression, Best Sound Effect etc., culminating in the award for Best Film. So it's congratulations all round and the inevitable acceptance speeches.

Minimum Notice Period 2 Weeks
Learning Objectives Teamwork, Self esteem, Communication, Problem solving, Bonding, Creativity, Issue awareness Details;Based on Augutso Boal’s “Theatre of the Oppressed” and incorporating “Theatre Forum” this program creates dialogue like no other. The reason, it gives people an opportunity to “voice” issues in a fun and unchallenging way.The program starts with basic theatre tools of relaxation and trust building. Workshop participants (the actors) are then asked to tell a story, taken from daily life, containing a political or social problem or difficult situation. A skit depicting that problem is improvised and presented. The original solutions proposed by the protagonist should contain at least one potentially challenging situation. When the skit is over, the audience and the actors discuss the proposed solution, and then the scene is performed once more. But now, audience members are urged to intervene by stopping the action, coming on stage to replace actors, and enacting their own ideas. Thus, instead of remaining passive, the audience becomes active "spect-actors" who now create alternative solutions and control the dramatic action.
The aim of the forum is not to find an ideal solution, but to invent new ways of confronting issues. Theatre Forum has been used around the world in many situations with many walks of life and has created dramatic dialogue everywhere.

Using the metaphor of music to strengthen a team’s connection, build morale, and assist them in reaching their highest creative potential the 'drum circle' is very empowering.
We present a different kind of challenge, asking participants to take creative risks, connect on a human level, and be expressive. Simply put, we inspire teams to “go for it” within the context of maintaining their connection to one another. There is less focus on individual challenges, and more focus on the whole team – the collective beat that is created by everyone’s voice.
Drum Power! is not about learning to play the drums or acquiring musical technique. In fact, prior musical experience is not necessary. You don’t even have to own a drum. We provide all the drums and world percussion instruments needed for your team.
Drumming melts our inhibitions, allowing EVERYONE to experience their true inner
freedom
below an article from a couple of years back...
What does African hand drumming, an art form dating back to 3000 BC, have in common with a Silicon Valley startup that issued an IPO yesterday? More than you might think -- if you're willing to surrender to the rhythm and place your faith in the power of metaphor. Drum circles, according to facilitators who use music to create synergy in corporate settings, utilize the creative forces vital to success in the new economy. "Drum circles thrive on collaborative creativity, and that is so important in the Internet world," explains Christine Stevens, founder of Upbeat Drum Circles in Fort Collins, Colorado. Today, corporate clients constitute roughly 25 percent of Stevens' business, a figure she's seen rise in sync with the dot.com revolution. She attributes the growing interest in drum circles to an escalating demand for workplace innovation and imagination. "The economy is shifting to a point where you've got to be incredibly creative to get attention," she says. And certainly, the organic rhythms that emerge when a group of burgeoning musicians sits around a circle of drums truly do resonate with creative freedom. When participants in Paulo Mattioli corporate percussion programs enter his classroom, a pile of instruments, each one representing a different voice in the creative process, greets them. More often than not, eager execs descend upon the drums and shakers with the vigor and clatter of a second-grade class let loose in Toys 'R Us. Then the real ruckus begins. "We have many different voices, which are the metaphor for the many different departments, or the many different aspects of the company," explains Mattioli, whose corporate "Rhythm Journeys" are based out of Corona, California. Most of Mattioli's circles begin with the most fundamental rhythm: the heartbeat. "Ba-boom. Ba-boom. Ba-boom," he demonstrates. From there, participants add other patterns, often gaining speed until the music reaches a fever pitch. When a drum circle is at its throbbing, frenetic height, it's almost impossible to resist the rhythm. Group drumming is a seamless exercise in which each tone complements the others. Participants weave their own rhythmic contributions into the music, adding personal flourishes that make each composition entirely unique. Though any one session may sound drastically different than the last, Mattioli says a successful day of drumming always ends the same way -- "People working together, in synchronicity, produce more. The bottom line is more productivity; better employee relations; better morale." Facilitators like Mattioli long have known a truth some business leaders are just beginning to understand: In nontraditional corporate structures, conventional team-building exercises are obsolete and ineffective. Drum circles, which focus on process as well as product, offer an alternative to more goal-oriented initiative tasks. Participants accustomed to standard team-building fare like ropes courses sometimes assume drum circles are a proven model for success. In reality, each team must construct a new model within the circle -- a model that's specifically tailored to its strengths and needs. "In drumming, the goal gets defined as we go," Stevens explains. And in the creative space of a drum circle, anything goes. Each rhythm is valued, and everyone has a voice. Sound like the ideal workplace? It does to clients who seek the dynamic team-building programs offered by Arthur Hull who is regarded in the hand drumming community as the "father of the modern drum circle." "It's less about drumming and more about the procedures that make a team work together successfully, such as using notes to make space for other people's creativity rather than filling the space with your own notes," he says. A master drummer with more than 20 years of experience leading corporate groups, Hull firmly believes in the unifying energy of the ancient drum circle. As the business world becomes increasingly dependent upon technology to mediate interpersonal relationships, employees are crying out for a personal connection, he says. The intense hands-on process of creating and exchanging rhythms meets that need. "As more companies build virtual communities of employees, they're looking for ways to build real communities within their workforces as well," Hull says of the corporate clients who solicit his rhythmic genius. Drum circles allow him to take participants away from their cubicles and computers, placing them in situations where they must anticipate change and act in the moment. Like the music of the drum itself, Hull's sessions are adaptable and energetic. "The experience we create with a percussion- and rhythm-based event is highly malleable," he says. "It fits the needs of many companies, according to the kind of off-site or meeting they want to create." That's important, since his roll of satisfied clients reads like a Who's Who of corporate America: Arthur Anderson, Dell Computer, Hewlett-Packard, Kinko's, Lucent Technology, Microsoft, and Motorola. In many rigid corporate environments, employees work side-by-side for years without really getting to know one another, says Onye Onyemaechi, a Nigerian master drummer and founder of Igobote Centre in Rohnert Park, California. Most companies can function despite this underlying climate of disharmony. But Onyemaechi says a lack of unity and understanding will likely hinder troubleshooting exercises and may result in inadequate awareness of group resources. "Drum circles bring people together to realize their common base," explains Onyemaechi. "The rhythm of the drum creates expansive conscious." In other words, when a CEO rolls up his or her sleeves, sits down next to the company's newest hire, and starts banging on a drum, everything appears in a different light. Onyemaechi's sessions, representative of those offered by other facilitators around the country, range from three hours to a full weekend. Of course, a few hours spent pounding on a jembé drum may not resurrect a corporate environment that's been hopelessly staid for months. But it is a surefire way to relieve stress.
And even if you don't buy into the metaphors dispensed by drum circle facilitators, there's another basic truth about drumming that's difficult to deny -- It's a heckuva lot of fun. "It not only uplifts your spirits, it clears your mind," says Onyemaechi. "People are happy when they leave the circles, and they carry the energy of the group for weeks afterward."
Using our background in professional theatre, voice training and corporate work, we have developed a series of workshops in speech and presentation skills. By adapting performance training for corporate needs, we are able to offer stimulating and challenging sessions which will give participants a firm grounding in the skills needed for successful presentations. Subjects covered include dealing with nerves, voice production and body language. The use of video cameras mean participants will be able to see for themselves vocal and physical habits they have that can be distracting or unhelpful when speaking to a group. They will notice immediate improvements as soon as they begin putting our recommendations into practice and will come away with increased confidence in how to use their voices and to make the most of facial expressions, eye contact, posture and gestures.
