Background: It was a great honour for this private client. She was presented a special award from the French Consulate General for her services to the Fernch people and to French Culture.

Goal: Create an elegant memorable event for all stakeholders and guests.

Fortune Global Forum

Venue: Moon Koon Restaurant Happy Valley Racetrack

Background: Events was in charge of the design and production of this cocktail party at the races. The venue was spread over two floors. No theme was desired only strong vivid color.

BNP Paribas

Venue: Hyatt on the Bund Shanghai

Background: BNP Paribas has a long history in China and a strong client base in the Shanghai area. This event was an oppurtunity for clients to meet the new Presedent of China region.

Goal: Create a cool memorable atmosphere and introduce the new corporate Head of China

Private Client Birthday Celebration

Venue: Watermark

Background: Not usally the most lavish and very humble but wanted to create "a party to remember".

Goal: Create a high end modern and memorable event..

UBS Warburg/UBS

Venue: Rugby Sevens Hong Kong Stadium

Background: Many look at the sevens as an excellent opportunity to meet new clients. With a large array of "corporate hospitality boxes" to choose from sometimes the competition gets fierce. Events is proud to say they were the producers of UBS box from 2001 -2008 and helped to achieve the award "Best Box 2002, also "Best Box" 2005" according to Finance Asia Magazine.

Goal: Create and manage a venue that UBS could be proud of.

Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club

Venue: Yacht Club Kellet Island

Background: The Yacht Club Grand Ball is the major event the club host each year. Over 1000 people attend this 12 hour event, starting with 5 course meal then moving around the club to dance in one of the 2 discos or live bands on 3 different stages.

Goal: To turn the whole of The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club into "Camelot"  for the evening. Provide full technical support for light and sound. Co-ordination of the event.

ABBA's /FABBA's (Asian Brokers and Bankers Awards)

Venue: Grand Ballroom of Grand Hyatt Hotel

Background: Now in it's sixth year this event recongnises individuals for their ups and downs throught the year. This charity event managed to raise over 8 million for the most recent event.

Goal: come up with decor styling and some entertainment for a group who has seen it all.

Background: The Bank's 500 plus staff all get together once a year for this annual event.

Goal: Enhance teamwork and create a more exciting and fun atmosphere than previous years', at half the budget.

Venue: Rooftop of the "La Rose Noir Bakery"

Background: The launch of Gerard Dubois' new limited edition cook book.

Goal: Realy create a memorable special event for some of Hong Kong's top chefs and hoteliers.

I have only been out in the evening with you on two occasions and on both of those occasions there was cause for a celebration on your behalf. Let me say that I am thoroughly impressed on your ability to throw a party. Both events, to which I have had the good fortune of being invited to, are evenings I shall long remember. Congratulations on another crowning glory in your ever advancing career with the launch of your second book, you should be thoroughly proud of all of your achievments in such a short time on this earth. I must say as one of the chefs in this city, there probably has never been so many chefs assembled in one location for a very long time, I think this speaks loud and clear of your respect and frienship amonst the chefs and hoteliers in this great city. You deserve it Gerard. Once again, congratulations and may you and your wonderful family have many more prosperous and healthy years together. Thank you for including me in on the event and god help the rest of those who ever wish to launch a book again in this city, they can never top that party!!

Background: Every Christmas the meeting offices are opened for a "Family Christmas Party".

Goal: Create a fun time for the family and staff of UBS.

Experimental Learning

Island School

Venue: Macau

Background: Events and its' partners, Q-times and the Mandarin Oriental Macau were asked to create and run a special week long program for 70 youth between 13-18 years for Island School's "Interim week".

Goal: Produce and run a program devoted to enhancing personal growth, and developing "life skills"  in a group of young adults.
